Diasoft Helps to Manage ETL Processes
March 29, 2024
Digital Q.Omnichannel expands its functions with the new features for the management of routine business processes. A special platform component now supports a new type of routine operations – management of ETL processes. This feature is part of the functionality ensuring centralized management of the end-of-day processing and other data processing procedures.
Management of ETL processes. The new functionality is used to manage data extraction and transformation processes. All actions are registered in a centralized log, which allows tracking execution of parent and subordinate operations and ensures simple navigation and transition into nested objects. Users can choose from pre-configured ETL processes or create custom ones.
Date Frequency Calculation. Customize date calculation rules for creation of different types of schedules, such as loan repayment schedules for loan agreements.
Chains of Routine Operations. In addition to the management of ETL processes, the solution helps to manage business processes. It breaks up complex processes, such as end-of-day processing, into individual stages, each representing a separate routing operation, and links them into end-to-end chains.
Regulations. Operations can be subject to specific procedural requirements governing their execution. Based on these procedures, the customer can set up a set of rules that allow or prohibit the start of an operation by schedule, manually, or from an external system. For each approach, the user can define additional parameters, such as the time interval for starting or prohibiting the execution, the expected duration, the maximum or minimum number of objects for processing, etc.
Overriding Parameter Values: The product allows overriding parameters during execution of the same routine operation in different contexts, for example, for different business units. This ensures that the regulatory operation is not duplicated.
Operational Day Management: The product serves as a master system for the management of operational days. The operational day status can be linked to a business unit, a separate system or to the entire organization, which can be tracked through a user-friendly interface.
Calendar Management. The product supports creation and customization of required calendars, such as a full calendar, a working day calendar, calendars for specific departments, regions or countries. The customer can create consolidated calendars that take into account working and non-working days and aggregate different work schedules from several calendars.
Simple Integration into the IT Landscape. The product is easily integrated with any IT solutions, whether developed by Diasoft or other vendors. Interaction are supported through API calls or a message brokers, such as Digital Q.MessageBroker, part of the Digital Q Digital Transformation Ecosystem.
