Huawei and Diasoft Signed a MOU on Cooperation

Monday, September 5, 2016

Huawei and Diasoft signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at Huawei Connect 2016 that took place from 31 August to 2 September in Shanghai.

Under the memorandum, the two Parties will start their global cooperation in the financial industry and will combine their efforts to design and create joint innovative cloud solutions and promote and develop cutting-edge hardware and software packages for financial institutions.

The companies started their partnership in 2015 and they have already completed a series of joint testing projects, within which Diasoft's software solutions have been tested on Huawei's server and data storage systems. The testing is aimed at creation of technologically compatible and efficient hardware and software solutions for financial institutions. This allows avoiding problems associated with integration of software and hardware systems both during implementation and during further production operation of joint solutions, which eventually results in reduced cost of implementation and operation for customers. Moreover, it ensures the required system performance, even with peak workloads.

Further cooperation will include joint development and implementation of optimal configurations of hardware and software platforms for bank systems meeting requirements of specific customers.

Signing of the global memorandum will allow the Partners to promote joint solutions at the global market.

"During the recent years, the collaboration between Russia and China has greatly increased. According to the official statement of the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, the 'Russian-Chinese relations are the best they’ve been in the history and continue to acquire new content'", commented Alexander Gentsis, the Member of the Board of Directors at Diasoft. "Our partnership with Huawei is important not only for us but also for our customers. Diasoft is an international company with branches in China (Shanghai), Singapore and the Great Britain (London). We seek to expand our cooperation with Huawei and to conduct joint projects both at our home market and internationally".

"Huawei is committed to development of partner relationships with Russian partners, which represents one of the company's strategic activities. Conclusion of the MOU will bring the relationships between our companies to a new level. Huawei's high-tech server solutions used within IT infrastructures of banks and insurance companies and compatible with software solution of our partner vendor Diasoft guarantees high performance and reliability of such mission critical business systems. We highly appreciate this opportunity and Diasoft's commitment into the partnership", said Cao Chong, CEO, Enterprise Business Group, Huawei Russia.

HUAWEI CONNECT 2016 was held from August 31 to September 2 in the Shanghai Expo Centre, the Mercedes-Benz Arena and the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center (SWEECC)).
